Responsibilities
The Asset Risk group supports clients with 2nd party advice across a range of services as summarised below, assisting the industry in maintaining integrity of technical and operational barriers for safety critical equipment, systems and operations.

As a Principal in this group, specialising in one or more of these areas, you will work in cross-functional consulting teams involved in project delivery and project management as well as building client relationships, helping to market client’s services. The Principal role involves developing other consultants through project management activity and coaching. Principals also contribute to service development with the opportunity to work on joint industry initiatives with external organisations to create novel solutions.

We are interested in people with the ability to deliver services within one or more of the following areas:

o Asset Risk Management Consulting
o Operational asset engineering support
o Offshore and onshore risk engineering studies
o Technical Safety Audits (e.g. KP3/KP4)
o Pipeline / SURF(*) Consulting (design and operational issues)
o Technology Qualification
o Technical Due Diligence

- Materials & Corrosion
o Failure investigation / Root Cause Analysis
o Condition assessment / gap analysis
o Remaining life assessment / Fitness for service
o Defect analysis
o Fracture Mechanics
o Cathodic Protection investigation
o CUI analysis

- Pipeline / Asset Integrity Management
o Integrity / Inspection management
o RBI / RBFM(**) programme design and analysis

- Pipeline / Subsea Verification (support to other Departments)

(*) SURF: Subsea, Umbilicals, Risers, Flowlines
(**) RBI/RBFM: Risk Based Inspection / Risk Based Fabric Maintenance

Qualifications
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional individuals with the following:

- A relevant technical degree qualification (Engineering / Sciences)
- Significant experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas sector
- Alternatively: similar experience in downstream Process sector or Nuclear Industry with
   transferable skills
- Good knowledge of systems and services in Asset Risk Management / Pipelines Consulting
- Previous risk consulting experience is also an advantage.
