Economic and safety regulation of the railways is currently being established in Saudi Arabia. A senior individual (10+ years experience) is required to advise on railway accident and incident investigation. The role is broad ranging and involves all duties in relation to reporting, investigating and acting upon the findings of accident and incident investigations.

Candidates should ideally have worked for a railway regulator in the UK or other European country, and be able to demonstrate:

  • A substantial track record of relevant experience and achievement in accident and incident investigation
  • Extensive knowledge of methods available and in use for incident and accident investigation
  • Extensive knowledge of railway operations and services

The majority of the work done by the CFD section is for clients in the oil & gas and power generation industries. Typical studies include exhaust plume and gas leak dispersion, ventilation efficiency, flare combustion, and gas venting, helideck turbulence and explosion modelling.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:
  • A strong interest / background in CFD; 
  • A good degree (2:1 or above) in Mechanical / Chemical / Aeronautical Engineering 
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently; 
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks; 
  • Competent in the use of MS Office package 

Desirable Skills/Experiences:
