Due to an increase in this activity and upcoming retirement and relocation of Surveyors, our client is seeking suitably qualified and experienced verification Surveyors to support and develop this important sector.

Glasgow is a major European city with a long maritime and engineering history characterised today by dynamic growth in many sectors and offers a broad range of world class cultural and leisure possibilities.

Major Duties

• Manufacturing survey of components/equipment intended for offshore and marine sectors

• Manufacturing survey/project management of packages/skids for offshore/marine sectors

• Follow up Type Approval and Manufacturing Survey Arrangement schemes

• Liaising with approval centres in UK and other parts of the organisation

Qualifications

• Relevant Engineering Degree (Mechanical/Process/Metallurgy etc.)

• Experience in verification/inspection services incl. design review

• NDT qualifications and/or PED familiarity would be an asset

• High professional integrity

• Team player with positive attitude

• Able to combine theoretical knowledge and practical skills

• Good communication skills and ability to understand customer needs

• Adaptable and flexible
