ROLE PURPOSE

To provide a point of reference on technical issues & to assist in the delivery

of the Consulting Group business development plan & operating year budget

THE ROLE

You should hold…..

A degree level qualification in a scientific or related subject

You should………

• Be a member of a related professional institution & Chartered status
• Have 10 years’ experience specialising in Environmental Acoustics &/or industrial noise control
• Proven technical & commercial management of projects
• Have the ability to train/mentor junior staff
• Be commercially aware
• Be client facing

 MAIN DUTIES

• Support in the development/delivery of annual Consulting Group Plan
• Provide high quality technical consultancy to clients
• Keep abreast of current legislation, relevant national and international standards and guidelines and technical developments within the relevant field
• To swiftly respond to requests for client work and proposals
• Contribute to delivery of projects on time and to budget; to manage resources in the delivery of the projects; to undertake regular project reviews
• Contribute to a rolling forward Consulting Group order book
• Support compliance with our client’s QHSE and external quality/certification requirements
• Ensure adequate technical tools & facilities are available & maintained to industry standards
• Monitor individual utilisation Client’s targets and actively manage optimal utilisation
• Operate in line with client’s core Values and code of Ethics.

 DELIVERABLES

• Take ownership of individual utilisation target
• Take ownership of delivery of projects to budget
• Delivery of projects to the high quality standards required
• Maintain and own active training records
• Active participation in Consulting Group practices
