ROLE PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to lead the on site team of Engineer
Surveyors carrying out of high quality inspections and H & S audits, you
will operate with a clear customer focus and be charged with driving optimal
service delivery.
THE ROLE
You should .....
- Hold ONC/HNC/IEng or comparable
- Have proven experience and sound technical knowledge of the relevant engineering discipline
- Have demonstrable team leadership experience in a related role
- Hold a current UK driving license.
MAIN DUTIES
- Management of all aspects of an onsite Engineering team.
- Ensure all client employees working on site adhere to H &S processes and systems including those unique to the Sellafield site.
- Ensure that the team fully utilise all operational systems available (Siebel), ensuring accurate data is input and reflected.
- Whilst acting as a fully integrated member of a national and regional team, retain individual ownership and responsibility for all allocated inspection and technical activities
- Ensure the team carry out inspections in set time scales inline with planned schedule
- Formulate, produce and distribute inspection reports in a professional manner within daily timescales and service standards
- Ensure accurate work force planning in line with the clients requirements
- Provide, build and maintain excellent client relationships and ensure that all customer service standards are met
- Act on behalf of the company, making full use of technical expertise, when required
- Identify any possible business opportunities and advise all appropriate business areas
- Maintain technical standards within business units to meet business plan measures participating in
- Technical Competency Testing and Technical Audits (internal & external).
- Work effectively with Area Managers and Regional Directors to ensure all regional KPI’s are met
