Experienced Human Factors Consultant sought to join a growing Design Solutions and Human Factors capability within our client’s dynamic Transportation Division.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of applying the principle Human Factors engineering methodologies to transportation projects in the UK. Knowledge and experience of Human Factors integration and management methods would also be beneficial. The candidate should be experienced in leading on the definition of engineering and integration problems, the formulation of Human Factors solutions and the effective application of these within multi-disciplinary, operational domains.

Ideally the candidate will be a registered member of the Ergonomics Society of Great Britain (or equivalent body). Experience in applying wider engineering safety management practices will be valuable. Relevant consultancy/commercial experience is also preferred but not essential. The candidate should be a good communicator and be able to integrate into a client organisation. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to develop further opportunities for our client within a client organisation or sector. Candidates need to be highly motivated and take ownership of client problems and deliver added value solutions. A significant proportion of our client’s transportation portfolio is based in London, although opportunities frequently arise nationally and internationally.
