Asset Integrity Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION 
ASSET INTEGRITY ENGINEER
SALARY: NEGOTIABLE
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Asset Integrity Engineer your main responsibilities will include:



  • Execute all activities in line with Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS), policy, strategy, procedures and plan 
  • Comply at all times with AIMS process 
  • Facilitate education and awareness of Asset Integrity good practice across all company assets 
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationship with peers and asset teams so as to achieve effective delivery and optimization of Asset Integrity on the assets 
  • Promote and actively support AIMS process at all levels in the community 
  • Monitor the effectiveness of Asset Integrity management arrangements in place 
  • Report on AIMS effectiveness through line 
  • Support and actively participate were required in internal audits in the area of Asset Integrity 
  • Ensure line management is well informed about Asset Integrity management issues 
  • Establish and maintain strong links with relevant external bodies and internal functions 
  • Actively manage Asset Integrity delivery in response to Asset Integrity reporting and KPI's 
  • Actively challenge as appropriate the organisation's success in managing Asset Integrity 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE



  • BSc, B.Eng. or similar or 
  • HND/HNC in engineering or equivalent with considerable experience and job responsibilities in relevant Asset Integrity positions 
  • Demonstration of continued personal development through other relevant qualifications 
  • Detailed knowledge of Asset Integrity Management Systems, anomaly management (through to close out) in an offshore environment 
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant legislative, regulatory, codes and technical standards (covering on and offshore installations) 
  • Demonstrable experience in the selection and implementation of Asset Integrity strategies, selection and use of Inspection and Fabric Maintenance Strategies including; Risk Based strategies, RBI, FEA and criticality techniques in general 
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of pipelines, pressure systems, structures, vessels, fabric, hazardous equipment maintenance and inspection requirements in a hazardous environment and experience of ensuring the delivery of the planned scopes 
  • Demonstrable experience in the supervision / management of Subcontractors, ICB, Asset Integrity and inspection teams, including development of personnel in an offshore environment 
  • Working knowledge of Offshore Installation Management regulations
