Human Factors Consultant

Responsibilities:

To deliver Human Factors (HF) projects to a high technical standard. Plan and manage own work to meet technical, budget and project requirements. 

Essential skills & experience: 

• Degree qualified in Human Factors / closely-related subject 
• Knowledge and experience of a broad range of Human Factors principles and methods, and their role and application within the Oil, Gas & Process sectors
• Minimum 5 years’ experience practicing Human Factors in an engineering or engineering consultancy capacity 
• Experience working within the Oil and Gas sectors 
• Experience working within the Nuclear sector
• Member of IEHF (or equivalent professional body)  
• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills with a practical and pragmatic approach to problem solving.  
• Highly motivated, with the ability to conduct assignments in parallel, and the initiative to work independently when required.
