Technology Lead

Responsibilities

Knowledge Management : Build repository of team`s collective knowledge, Seek information and leverage knowledge from other projects IN ORDER TO drive higher efficiency and effectiveness and preserve organization knowledge

Client Management : Interface with customer for issue resolution, provide status updates, Build customer confidence in team`s ability to deliver IN ORDER TO support high customer satisfaction

People Management : Mentors the team on Technical Competencies and provides performance feedback of the individual team members to Project Manager IN ORDER TO manage performance

Maintenance & Production Support : Participate in analysis of incoming cases/tickets, assign tickets to team members, track fixing of tickets and verification of the fixes, tracking of SLAs, performing root cause analysis of defects and elimination of root causes, running process improvement initiatives such as Brite initiative to reduce defects IN ORDER TO close production issues and improve application/system/infrastructure performance.

Transition : Participate in KT sessions, prepare and review system appreciation documents, understand
application/system / infrastructure dependencies, perform shadow support IN ORDER TO complete transition

Warranty : Review the production issue analysis and fixes, interface with customer to clarify issues IN ORDER TO ensure issue fixes in timely manner and with minimal production impact (adherence to SLA)
Implementation: Provides inputs for overall implementation plan, Lead deployment of applications/infrastructure and post production support activities IN ORDER TO enable productionization of application/system/infrastructure

Testing : Lead the team for integration/system/performance testing based on integration and system test plans and supports UAT IN ORDER TO ensure defect free program/modules/system/infrastructure release

Development/Build : Guide the team in developing optimized high quality code deliverable (Code Configuration, Documentation) , perform code deliverable reviews & Unit test plan reviews, conduct independent testing and sign off code release for testing stage IN ORDER TO build application conforming to project standards and requirements

Architecture : Participate in architecture review sessions to provide inputs to architecture team through framework analysis, design patterns, prototype specifications IN ORDER TO be able to create High level design specification

Design : Performs high and low level design, Provides pseudo codes, Implements the prototype and does design reviews IN ORDER TO deliver design documents as per customer requirements.

Requirements Gathering : Participate in requirement elicitation process defined in the project management plan to identify requirement gaps/issues (both functional and non functional) IN ORDER TO come up with a comprehensive requirement document

Risk Planning : Provide inputs for technical risk planning with module perspective IN ORDER TO ensure on time delivery of project.

Quality Planning : Trains team members on project processes and provides inputs on process tailoring and quality goals IN ORDER TO finalize project quality plan.

Scheduling : Prepare a detailed schedule for a work packet by carefully analyzing the effort and dependencies ( internal and external) and provide inputs to overall project schedule IN ORDER to ensure on time delivery of the project.

Estimation : Participate in the estimation activities considering org / unit Q&P goals and review the estimates IN ORDER TO plan for required budget and resources to successfully execute the project

Project Scoping : Participates in discussions with customers to gather scope information and performs analysis of scope information IN ORDER TO provide inputs for project scope documentation

Proposals : Participate in estimation, staffing analysis and solutioning IN ORDER TO provide inputs for preparing solution delivery of the proposal
