Qualification:
Master’s
degree from a reputed university or institute in the field of Mechanical Eng.
Experience:
12
to 14 years of domain experience in Aircraft seating design involving
composites with following concept and detailed design experience
Job
Requirements:
Domain
experience in economy-class & premium-class seat design from concept to
detailed design & detailing
phases
- Good understanding of Aerospace Interiors industry
- Detailed Knowledge and understanding of seats to Aircraft integration and interface design with emphasis on knowledge of various Aero Standards, use of standard fasteners, inserts, adhesives, actuators etc. as applicable to aero seatings
- Good exposure of CAE as applied to seat design
- International experience preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience on CATIA V4/V5 in the following areas : -

skills:
- Leading and guiding the team
- Customer facing
- Understanding the customer requirements
- Good Communication skills (verbal & written)
- Good hands on experience on Microsoft excel, PowerPoint & Project
- Good experience in preparing the Technical and commercial proposals
Key
Responsibilities:
- Lead the aero seating team
- Coordinate with customer functional seating design team and aircraft programs for design and development requirements
- Understand the work-package & specifications, seek clarifications, and identify gaps (if any).
- Design Work break down structure for the requirements and execute them at onsite/near-site and at offshore location.
- Continually innovate new process and techniques to improve work efficiency
- Continually mentor team to improve competency and make the offshore team self-reliant
- Provide and implement new ideas for productivity improvements
