Project Manager / Business Analyst

Project Manager/ Mumbai, India / Salary negotiable

Responsibilities

·      Accountable for reporting status, issues, progress, and performance measures to Sponsor and Stakeholders

·      Accountable for Project Planning activities

·      Accountable for Project Management activities: Quality Management, and Change Management

·      Responsible for developing and maintaining working relationships with project owners and enterprise Architects to assist in keeping solution in line with enterprise target state processes.

·      Responsible for providing best practices and guidance to business analyst and project teams in the areas of requirements analysis and modeling.

Education

·         B.E / MCA / MBA or equivalent from a reputed university

·         Project management courses (such as PMP certification)

·         Courses in (UML) Unified Modeling Language and (OOD) Object Oriented Design

Experience

·      Atleast 5+ years of experience in development and leadership of J2ee based enterprise applications.

·      Exposure to the complete software development life cycle (SDLC) process and best practices.

·      Has led development teams of 5 or more members.

Skill sets

Management Skills:

·         Project management proficiency (such as PMP certification)

·         Financial management proficiency

·         Issues & risk management proficiency

·         Schedule & scope management proficiency

·         Resource management proficiency

Analysis Skills:

·         Application scoping proficiency

·         Good experience with developing functional analysis models, especially  in BFSI domain

·         Interfacing between the SME and the technical team members

Test Skills:

·         Basic understanding of test planning

·         Basic understanding of User Acceptance test

Soft Skills:

·         Leadership expertise

·         Manager-level decision making expertise

·         Communication expertise

·         Presentation proficiency

·         Facilitation proficiency

·         Writing proficiency

Leadership Skills:

·         Mentoring developers and guiding them in the right direction

·         Issue Resolution and Escalations

Enterprise Skills:

·         Enterprise process framework proficiency

·         Basic understanding of enterprise Architecture
